![]() by Melvyn Morrow "A hyper successful fund raiser for the Bell Bard Company" (Stephen Dunne . SMH 97) A cabaret with class - a menu of the Bard's best bits, each topped off with the Broadway number Shakespeare would have written if he was alive today and in the business. Morrow's show pulls tunes out of musicals such as My Fair Lady, Sweeney Todd and Les Mis. and pairs them with similar character situations in plays like Much Ado About Nothing and Titus Andronicus. The melding of themes is startlingly smooth. The big themes of love, lust, greed and revenge are at the root of all drama, but segues from Richard III's " Now is the winter of our discontent into "Give em that old Razzle Dazzle" from Chicago. Cast: From
1 to 8.
